Kenyans Disappointed As Video Of Maasai Entertainers Who Can’t Jump To Wow Tourists Emerges
Kenyans have come out to express their disappointments after experiencing a rare occurrence in the history of the country.
Countless netizens could not keep calm after accessing a video of Maasai entertainers who were thrilling tourists and other guests at an Sarova Mara Game Camp.
The video, which was first made public by comedian MC Jessy who was among the guests had men dressed Maasai shukas trying to do the traditional Maasai dance in a bid to put smiles on the faces of their audience.
However, unlike real Maasai who usually thrill the world with their impeccable dance and jumps, the group of entertainers just moved their bodies but none even attempted to do the signature jumps.
Their performance shook MC Jessy who decided to share a snippet of the same on social media as he asked if indeed that is how Maasai entertainers dance.
“Heh…!!!Nowadays Maasai don’t jump…?” Jessy wondered.
Without wasting time, his followers and other Kenyans thronged the comments section of his post to share their different analyses.
Quite a multitude of Kenyans joked that the dancers are most likely people from Central Kenya who were just trying to make ends meet.
Comments From Kenyans:
According to many people who commented, it is only Kikuyus who can pretend to be anything and everything else just to make an extra dime.
The good thing about the banter is that everyone who commented while mentioning Kikuyus did so on a lighter note.
The comments under MC Jessy’s post cracked many who could not help but agree with most if not all contributors even as they backed their witty conclusions.
