KOM EXCLUSIVE: Chris Da Bass Ditches Milele FM For Radio Maisha
Revered radio personality Chris Da Bass is serving his notice period at Milele FM as he warms up to join Mombasa Road-based radio station, Radio Maisha.
KOM.co.ke has exclusively learnt that journalist will soon be leaving Milele FM for Radio Maisha even as he chases greener pastures.
According to sources intimate to the celebrated media personality, the presenter could not resist a heavy salary package dangled on his face by the Standard Media Group owned radio station.
The source who sought anonymity disclosed that Chris’ move was also influenced by poor and delayed salary at Milele FM.
Being a reputable media entity, KOM.co.ke reached out to the media expert for confirmation.
Well, this writer could not get hold of the radio host on phone but dropped a text message seeking his side.
The radio presenter honoured us with a response although he did not disclose much details.
He did not confirm or deny his exit from Milele FM or move to Radio Maisha but assure us that he will furnish this publication and his fans with details on Monday, April 15.
“Thank you bro. I Appreciate your professionalism. I promise to contact you on Monday, April 15.” Chris said.
KOM.co.ke understands Chris’ upcoming exit from the Mediamax-owned radio station comes barely a month after it suffered mass exodus.
Before joining Milele FM, the father of three used to work at Pilipili FM, currently Msenangu FM.
The star media personality has a wealth of on air experience having worked at some of Kenya’s biggest radio stations, from Mombasa all the way to Nairobi.
