Mwalimu Rachael Joins Radio Africa Days After Quitting NRG Radio
Bubbly radio personality Mwalimu Rachael has found a new home, KOM.co.ke has learnt.
Mwalimu is the latest addition to the Radio Africa Group team after putting pen to paper in a lucrative contract that will see her operate from the Lion Place based media house.
It is not yet clear the Radio Africa Group station she will be broadcasting for but sources inside the media house pointed at Homeboyz Radio as her possible destination.
News about the move was first made public by Homeboyz Radio through its official social media pages.
The urban station posted several photos of Mwalimu Rachael signing her contract as Radio Africa’s boss looked on and welcomed the radio host to the company.
“Celebrated media personality Mwalimu Rachael Joins Radio Africa Group! Welcome home.” HBR posted.
The news excited many people specifically her fans who took to different social media platforms to congratulate her on the development.
It is however, not yet clear if indeed she will be joining Homeboyz Radio or another Radio Africa Group’ station such as Classic 105 and Kiss 100.
Her move to RAG comes just days after she announced her exit from NRG Radio.
The lass had been at the Kevin Mulei owned station for close to a decade.
While at NRG Radio, she was part of the management team apart from being an on air personality.
Following her exit, her co-host DJ Exclusive followed suit and announced his exit from NRG Radio.
Taking to social media, the deejay offered a public statement thanking his fans for being with him for the six years he was at the station.
Exclusive did not disclose his next move.
