Netizens Erupt As Video Of Chinese Man Trying To Throw Kenyan Construction Worker Off Skyscraper Emerges
Kenyans on social media have expressed their displeasure after a video of a Chinese contractor trying to kill a Kenyan construction worker emerged.
A video in which a Chinese contractor is seen trying to push a local construction worker off a tall building following a disagreement evoked anger in the interwebs with many calling for the deportation of the accused.
It is not yet clear where the video was taken from but it was shared widely online by Kenyan public figures and other social media users as they called for police to take action.
A number of Kenyans who commented on the issue wondered why a foreigner could be let off the cuff even after threatening a local’s life.
Furious Kenyans on social media blasted the foreigner, his bosses and the government for allowing such atrocities to be meted on its citizens.
From notable public figures, to common wananchi, many Kenyans called for the arrest of the Chinese man for endangering the life of a Kenyan worker.
According to many netizens who express their anger, it is quite unfortunate for foreigners to “bully” locals in their own country.
It should be noted that this is not the first time a video of foreigners mistreating local made it to the interwebs.
Many are times countless footage showing how foreigners mistreat locals caused a melee online.
Despite the many evidence available, nothing has ever been done to curb such vices in the democratic country that is Kenya.
