Nyota Ndogo Calls Out Mothers Forcing Their Daughters To Stick To Violent Marriages
Legendary Kenyan musician Nyota Ndogo has taken her time to advise fellow mothers with their daughters in marriages.
The musician pleaded with mothers whose daughters are in violent marriage to always welcome them back home.
Taking to her social media pages, the mother of three asked mums not to chase their daughters of force them to go back to their domestic prone marriages.
According to Nyota Ndogo, it is better to stay with an unmarried daughter than receiving her back in a coffin.
The star reiterated that some men nowadays are ruthless and can beat up their wives to deaths.
She compared them to men in the old days who could not beat their wives to death.
“Nyie kina mama wacheni kuwaambia watoto wenu wa kike wavumilie ndoa wanapokuja kuwalalamikia wanapigwa.mnafikiria waume wasikuizi wanapiga kama wazamani? Hapana hawa wasikuizi wanaua kabisa.sasa unataka kuletewa maiti? Sijui utajisifu mwanangu alivumilia ndoa mpaka akafa.sijui ndio sifa mnayo tafuta?” She wrote.
Her sentiments were echoed by countless netizens who agreed with her holding that no lady is worth dying for and in marriage.
The musician has always been advising fellow women on how to lead better lives both in marriage and in their careers.
