Steve Kipande Celebrates As His Movie Gundu Bags Coveted Award At Coast Film Festival
Celebrated Kenyan filmmaker Steve Kipande, known to many as Daddi Q has taken to social media to celebrate his crew’s win.
The revered film director and producer could not keep calm after one of his films, Gundu bagged an award at the just concluded Coast Film Festival held in Mombasa over the weekend.
KOM.co.ke understands Steve Kipande’s film Gundu scooped the Best Music Score Award after flooring many others submitted in the same category.
In a post sighted by this writer on Facebook, the film’s producer Steve Kipande thanked his crew for their input and their fans for always supporting their products.
Kipande noted that the future looks even brighter not only for his company Grip Music n Pictures Ltd but the entire Kenyan film industry.
“Its another win as our film Gundu scoops another award in 10th Coast Film Festival 2024 for the Best Music Score, it has been a promising journey after getting awards and nominations in Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Italy, Russia and USA.” He wrote.
