The Kenyan music industry is one hard nut to crack and this, countless artists especially female can tell you this for free.

However, with the right content, management and promotion, some have managed to amass a mammoth of fans.

Being a tough industry, especially for female acts, a handful broke the glass ceiling to command respect in the game.

Well, despite giving it their all, a number of female artists still found it hard to command masses.

With that, some chose to flip the script and sell what will attract the attention of many music lovers; sex.

Countless female music acts, specifically rappers thought it wise to serve Kenyans with acres of skin through skimpy outfits all in a bid to demand a seat at the high table.

It did not end at that as some even went as far as sprinkling their lyrics with lewd lyrics just but to get the much need hype in the game.

While many thought that would salvage their careers, it ended up sinking them even deeper.

Without mentioning names, innumerable female femcees lost it big time as they sold s*x instead of the talent that initially endeared them to the multitude.

Even with the massive exodus of fans from their brands, some of the female rappers selling s*x instead of talent are yet to drop the strategy with hopes that one day they would win, just like their American counterparts Nicki Minaj, Cardi B and the ilk.

What buffles many music lovers is the fact that some of such music acts will blame fans for not supporting them when their strategies fail in the near future.
