Teenage Boy Assaulted by Bishop’s Wife in Meru

According to reports on NTV Kenya, the bishop’s wife allegedly assaulted and injured the boy severely, claiming he was romantically involved with her 15-year-old daughter.

Brian*, not his real name, recounted that the girl knocked on his door around 11 p.m. seeking shelter for the night, but he declined and insisted on escorting her back to her parents’ home. Upon arrival, he was attacked by members of the girl’s family. Brian alleges he lost consciousness after being severely beaten by the girl’s mother, sister, and brother.

He woke up tied to a tree with his trousers down, experiencing excruciating pain in his private parts.

“She took that rope and tied it around my private parts and started squeezing as if you were wringing clothes after washing. I felt like my private parts were being torn apart, I cried out in pain, I don’t know if the neighbors heard my cries,” he said.

After being rescued, the boy was taken to the Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment and later discharged. Local residents have condemned the incident and called for police intervention.

Area chief Victoria Kimathi confirmed the incident, stating that they are collaborating with the police to apprehend the suspect.
