Controversial Entertainment Publicist Mr X Calls Out Gen Z Goliath’s New Management For Overworking Star
• Bradley aka Gen Z Goliath was recently in Tanzania to feature in Mbosso ‘s upcoming project
• A section of Kenyans felt he was not given the VIP treatment that Tanzanian artistes enjoy when they visit Kenya for collaborations
Revered Kenyan journalist and entertainment Publicist Douglas Baya, known to many as Mr Xclusives/Mr X has caused ripples on social media after blatantly calling out handlers of the sensational internet darling Bradley aka The Gen Z Goliath for overworking him.
The former TUKO News editor, through a lengthy Facebook post highlighted how Bradley’s new management has been cutting him shoddy deals.
Through the post, Mr X claimed Gen Z Goliath’s new management has been diluting his brand instead of catapulting it to even greater heights.
According to the journalist, Bradley’s management have been engaging him in tedious partnerships which have been doing his brand more harm than good.
Mr X pointed out Bradley’s recent visit to Tanzania where he had traveled for a collaboration with WCB singer Mbosso and Chino Kid.
“Bradley wa Director Trevor aka The Gen Z Goliath atafika mbinguni kama amechoka sana. I really hope the KSh 50k, KSh 80k and KSh 100k he’s currently swimming in are duly saved or working on projects to secure his future financial freedom – It should be noted that his expiry date is fast catching up.
Kras tell me why I get to bump into your superstar at Ferry at 0020HRS…..
I was busy focusing on getting to the mainland and eventually PATASECA in Bamburi when I suddenly noticed a surging crowd at the crossing channel.
My journalistic curiosity kicks in and after a couple of minutes I realised it is just some Kenyans in their usual demeanour trying to wrap up their day with selfies.
What caught my attention was the fact that guy was probably checking in from Tanzania by road.
I understand he was recently in the neighbouring country to feature in Mbosso’s new song.
It may have been a small feat but why didn’t Mbosso extend decent technical and hospitality rider for our star.
Clearly, Goliath traveled to and from TZ by road courtesy of his sponsor Khushi Motors.
Hata kama it is saving, couldn’t Mbosso or even Goliath’s handlers negotiate a good deal and accord him a return flight ticket?
Or is it that our stars are selling themselves short.
Small time TZ stars get VVIP treatment whenever they check into Kenya.
Why isn’t the same replicated with our own when they visit our neighbours.
We hold foreigners with high regards not caring about how our own get treated when they go out for different creative engagements.
PS/ It is 0210HRS and I bump into Goliath in Bamburi where he presumably has a club appearance. The overtime should equal to more and more money, HOPEFULLY!!!
Also, it’s about time they let kijana get some rest. Wamemkamua sana. Why are they diluting his brand, instead of catapulting it to greater heights.
Imagine”Billionaire” paying saaaaay KSh 70k for a meet and greet and selfies to promote their different businesses and agendas and them there is us who get the same freely pale on the road.” Mr X wrote.
KOM.co.ke has learnt Bradley and rapper Stivo Simple Boy recently crossed the border to Tanzania to feature in Mbosso and Chino’s upcoming projects.
This publication understands the two were paid for their troubles buy according to Mr X and a host of other netizens, the two were given raw deals.
For starters, Bradley traveled to and from Tanzania by road – an abomination if you asked local entertainment pundits.
It is not yet clear how much Bradley was paid for the feature but the fact that he was not accorded a decent technical and hospitality riders got many flying off the hinges.
Judging by comments from Kenyans on social media, it is clear many expected him to get a return ticket to and from Tanzania.
However, the same was not extended to him, hence forced to take the road, arriving back to Kenya in the wee hours of Sunday, December 22.
Many insisted that his management failed to cut him a fair deal with the Tanzanian stars, therefore subjecting his almost fading brand to ridicule.
Some netizens insisted that Bradley is such a big star to travel to and from Tanzania by road and should have been furnished with a top-notch celebrity rider.
Others noted that his new management has been moving him around aimlessly, giving him less time to rejuvenate.
Bradley ‘s fans stated that it is unfair for him to do meet and greets with every Tom, D*ck and Harry all in the name of chasing the bag.
Countless social media users could not comprehend how and why their star could be spotted at the Ferry Crossing channel in Mombasa at midnight as he tries to get back to Kenya by road.
Others even pointed out spotting him at Club MIPS just minutes after arriving in Kenya.
The latest development comes just weeks after Bradley’s former manager Director Trevor disclosed he had stepped down as his official representative.
Trevor had earlier on put Bradley on the map and even helped him in sealing countless mouth-watering deals.
