Nonini Excited As He Shares International Stage With Legendary Glen Washington And Chris Martin

Kenyan rapper Hubert Nakitare alias Nonini left the country for the US with one mission; to spread his wings and become one of the few international music acts representing his nation.

And just like he planned, the rapper seems to be ticking every box on his music career bucket list.

The Kenyan star could not contain his excitement recently after finally sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the Reggae music industry.

KOM.co.ke understands the music big wig was among performers at the just concluded International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).

Being a big name in the world music space, he could not be left out and he delivered as he hit the stage for his performance on March 22, 2024.

The hip hop star shared the stage with legendary Reggae music acts such as Glen Washington and sensational Jamaican star Chris Martin in the Awards gale held in Florida, US.

The feat excited Nonini and he could not keep the good news to himself.

Taking to his official Twitter account, the rapper appreciated the organisers of the event for honouring him with the chance to perform alongside music giants.

Through his caption, the artist disclosed that he was proud to have achieved the milestone after 24 years in the music industry.

He posted a photo of himself on stage during the Awards gala followed by the caption;

His post impressed hundreds of his Kenyan fans who thronged the comments section to laud him for the move.

Many lauded him for flying the Kenyan flag up high in the international music scene with his well-calculated moves.

During past interviews, Nonini disclosed he moved to the US so that he can push his music to even greater heights.

The star revealed that the US and other countries have flawless systems which benefit artists big time unlike in Kenya.
